charming stay with easy access to iconic landmarks

My stay was perfect thanks to the lovely four-poster bed in a blissfully quiet room, and I was just a short stroll away from Dunster Village and Bat's Castle, making my weekend city explorations easy and enjoyable.

Unique stay with amazing decor!

What a gem! We stayed in a gorgeous Deluxe Double Room for 2 nights. The place is super cozy with stunning decor, and the food is all local or homemade. We loved the in-room breakfast – such a treat to start the day! One hiccup was the bathroom could've used a bit more space, but it didn’t ruin our time at all.

My stay at The Great House B&B was delightful. The hosts, Sheila and Bruce, were incredibly welcoming and knowledgeable about the area, making our visit memorable. The Deluxe Double Room was tastefully decorated with historical elements, creating a charming atmosphere. Breakfast was outstanding, with local ingredients and superb coffee, setting us up for a day of adventures in Exmoor.

Parking can be a bit tricky during busy times.

We had an amazing time with friends! After a long day of hiking, we explored the stunning nearby coastline and visited a charming village that offered great little cafes. The staff was super welcoming, and the breakfast was delicious. Just a heads-up, the parking can get a bit tricky during busy hours.

Perfect little spot for a weekend getaway in Timberscombe at a great price. The period decor added a unique charm to my stay. Bring your own food as there's limited dining options nearby.

I spent 2 nights here and it was lovely. The cozy king room was super dark and quiet, perfect for sleep. The hot shower was a treat after long days out, and breakfast made to order was delicious—seriously, the sausage was top-notch! Only wished the Wi-Fi was a bit faster, but I managed.
